Nope. whether you're low or high porosity, our products are formulated to penetrate your hair and go to work. the only difference is in how you use our Deep Conditioners. If you're low porosity, we strongly recommend you cover your hair with a plastic cap after applying our Deep Conditioner. Then use heat for at least 15 minutes, so your cuticles can open up and easily let the product in. If you're high porosity, we recommend letting our Deep Conditioner penetrate your strands for at least 15 minutes. you don't have to use heat or cover your hair with a plastic cap, but you may do so if you'd like.

yeah, Natural Sista! you can easily detangle with our Deep Conditioner or our Leave-In Conditioner. We recommend detangling with our deep conditioner stage to minimize frizz when styling. We suggest detangling before rinsing the deep conditioner out of your hair, after the deep conditioner has had at least 15 minutes to penetrate your strands. You may finger detangle, or use your favorite detangling tool.

For best results, you should wash your hair with our shampoo, apply our deep conditioning, apply 20 minutes heat treatment, wash it out & style!

Nope. each of these products is formulated to work with your natural hair, and not against it. all products in our Collection have been formulated for a consistency that slides and glides for easier application, and will not leave your hair oily.

Use as much as your hair need, because your length, density, and porosity may differ, we recommend experimenting with the amount of product you use. start with a nickel-sized amount for short hair, or a quarter-sized amount for long hair. as you work product in, feel free to add more product if you find you need more to coat the length of your hair. pro-tip: the products should absorb into your hair. so if you find yourself with a visible 'cast' on your hair, do not add any more product. instead, lightly mist your hair with water and work the product in.

we do not recommend leaving the shampoo or deep conditioner in your hair overnight. you should rinse the shampoo out immediately after washing your hair, and rinse the deep conditioner out after 1 hour, max. The leave-in conditioner and styling cream can remain in your hair until your next wash day. The only product you can leave on overnight is our Sea Buckthorn Overnight Moisture Conditioner, will moisturize your hair while you sleep, but it also gives your hair a jumpstart for the next day wash.
